My one questions is who did you guys like the rallye part of the tour, answering questions on the route? Should I do that again next year?

I for one enjoyed looking at the scenery more then stressing over questions like looking for "Gods church" . Probably because I am no good at it ether .Bob

Not sure about the rally questions. We were too busy trying to figure out which way to go on 322 to look at them (looped through Dauphin TWICE, picked up some more poor lost Shelby and Mustang drivers the second time thru). But we had a BLAST catching up to you guys.

It looked to me like some people were spending too much time trying to answer questions at Bruce Larson's barn instead of looking at his stuff and enjoying it. But hey, what ever lights your bulb.

While we might not have answered any questions, we did have some fun. Dan, I think the rally questions should be left in the mix. It allows for some driver navigator interaction and some competition. Those of us that choose not to participate (or are just bad at it) can just kick up some leaves and enjoy the cruise. Your route was well done. Very nice scenic roads.

My navigator had a tough time holding her hat on and writing the answers down Maybe have a multiple choice sheet (with an attached clipboard) for those who drive without a top on their cars Bill S.

Good feedback, thank you! I tried the rally questions as part of trying to make the tour different from last year. Keep givibng me you thoughts, and we'll see what next year will end up like. How about the route? Do it again (correctly), or a new one?

Probably a good compromise is to have a booklet of separate questions, and only make it optional. A common voice has been to not ask any questions at Bruce Larson's barn next year so everyone can enjoy it more. (well, maybe I'll ask one.... )

I had breakfast with Bruce Larson on Thursday and he told me that he very much enjoyed the visit by the Northeast Regional Tourers! He said we were one of the best groups he's ever hosted, very respectful of everything and genuinely interested in what was on display. We are welcome back next year!
Bruce also got into the spirit of things, driving his hot rodded '32 Ford 5 window coupe to my open house on Saturday, and then entering his two seater '50's T-Bird in our Sunday car show at the museum. I remarked about his participation, to which he half apologized, observing "Well, they're the only two Fords I have".
No need for apologies - They are both very cool cars and Bruce is one cool guy!

Are we going to be stopping at that little mini mart like we did last year? If so maybe you should give them a heads up so they can be prepared. At least bring some t shirts for them.LOL.
