Jim, 3125 was recently repainted from black and had an SC lip and comp gas cap, race windscreen etc added? If it is a CSX3XXX car, it looks more like maybe 3106, although 3106 had black side exhaust

Mike,
Did you look in the registry for the owner of 2290? Same owner for 3125.

I have not the SAAC registry book.

Here is a link of a video of the CSX2290.

Mike,
Did you look in the registry for the owner of 2290? Same owner for 3125.

A car I thought was 3125 was at SAAC31 in '06 and it has a number of major differences from the photo posted in this thread that you believe is 3125, so just wondering if it had recent major mods. I guess I'm not sure at this point if my note that the SAAC31 car was 3125 is accurate.

Could you be thinking about CSX3197? It's black and was at SAAC 31

Yes, that's the car. I had other photos from the same event in the correct 3197 folder, but one somehow made its way into 3125. The photo posted by mikesfm5s does have the same "SC lip" and comp windscreen as an old image of 3125 I have. Are there any more pictures of 3125 from recent history around that someone could share?

DMXF, your notes were accurate.

So Ned are you saying the black car with roll bar and side exhaust with a flange in the collector from SAAC31 was 3125? Wasn't that Jack Browning's old car?

If DF has recently redone 3125 to look like the car pictured, it is far different from the dark green race car with black side pipes that was at SAAC-31 in '06. That car started life as a narrow-hip car and the rear flares reflected that.

Nice hatchet job on the rear fenders. that will be a lot of work for someone to fix someday in the future.
