Looks like the SVRA portion of the weekend could be very interesting for convention goers.
I went to the GT 40 Reunion at WGI years ago and the racing was great. Maybe they will do it all over again.
You may want to book a couple more nights.
Here is the post by SVRA to their members,

The plan for this common ground with SVRA was to enhance the full weekend for SAAC attendees. It's meshing well.

We have scheduled our Vintage Race on Friday. If any of our Vintage Racers want to compete in Group 6 with SVRA, they can extend for Saturday and Sunday heats via special arrangements we have with SVRA (presuming they meet tech and licensing requirements).

All the SAAC conventions I have been to were great....but nothing IMHO compares with track time at The Glen.  It is such a great track....I love it and miss it very much!

The schedule is purely in discussion right now, but it looks like track is Thurs and Friday for us, with Saturday for Car Shows and special events.

John's beautiful 1995 Cobra "R" #4 of the original 250...Also known as the Rosie Diner car  Chug a Lug

After selling my 95 "R" (#99of the 250), I've been chasing after this one, timing just has not been right each time it has come up on the market (like now),or it would be mine.......

PS: I restored the exterior of the car for JM back in 2008 after the previous owner added his own "custom" paint work to the car  Head knock

You're going to be busy on Saturday at the car show.

We've gotten criticized at previous conventions because the car shows have gotten smaller. We took a step back and looked at why that might be. We scheduled them for Sunday. We also had open track on Sunday, parade laps on Sunday, and the vintage race was on Sunday. And we were surprised that the car show was getting smaller? Duh?

So this year was a perfect opportunity to try something new. We figured that we wouldn't schedule anything to draw people away from the car shows.

And you're not happy. You want open track on Saturday.

Sheesh.
