You can check the Glen racetrack web page for a list of area lodging:

Dale,
If you need to check hotels online in corning or elmira they are both about 30 minutes from the track and i'm sure they will have openings if the glen places are all sold out. Good luck.

Last time I was there, I wound up in Horseheads. Saturday night was the best there. They rolled out the old people in their wheelchairs to the band shell and play John Philip Sousa marches. If you got tired of that you could go over to the do it yourself car wash. That was exciting.

I could wash out the cows manure that got into my brake scoops from the ride over to the track. Judging by the booked up hotels, must be more then 100 people going to this one I guess?

There were more cows crossing the road then people back then. I wonder if that will change?

Looking forward to the Lodge. Not sure if I can drink much because I might need to keep a fire in the parking lot going to keep the animals away from the car at night? I already have the night vision scope, silencer and the M15 for the people though. Not too experienced with the bears wandering out of the State Park at night though? Seem to be a lot of permanent "campers" wondering out of the park at night? Hope those are just the Shelby Police?

Things have changed a little since the last Convention at WGI,

The people in the wheelchairs are now the Shelby owners that used to do open track but are now watching from the sidelines while their wives wipe the drool off their chins. Hysterical

Is the Club Kranky bringing Mustang Don to the show?   I saw him at WGI about a year ago with a client.  Isnt he part of your crew/posse?

No Don is not a regular with Club Cranky, we met him at a few events and at one time he lived near the Cranky crew but he moves around a lot so we don't see him on a regular basis.
If he shows at the Glen we will find him and make him drink adult beverages with us. Lager
