I am looking at a nice piece of 65 rear glass. It looks very blue "out of car" How would I know from the markings in and around the CARLITE that its tinted or not or from an AC car or not,...etc.? Thank You

Just to clarify... So would a piece that says SUNX be "correct" on a 65-350?

In the early 70's my original FB glass shattered from the heat when I had to park my Shelby in my folk's driveway at the time. So I purchased the glass pictured below from an auto wrecker a week or few after that. You should be able to make out the etchings on the glass OK if you blow up the picture and can read backwards. I have no idea which model/optioned Mustang the glass came out of, other than an early FB. SUN-X is shown on the next to last line. Hope this helps.

Greetings NC T My glass is a 5a and I was supposed to get another 5a that was ever so slightly cleaner (i think,...its hard to tell with one piece out and one piece in). But the second piece did not materialize. Did you meet me (40-ish) or the other Bigfoot (60-ish) at the show? Best Biggie

Two BIGFEET?!? Yeah, I've got you mixed up with the '60-ish one. If you should stumble on a nice late '64 rear glass, I'm in the market.

I know! Crazy!
If I see a 64 dated piece I'll let you know. Send me a PM as I have a thought.
