I am already waiting in the parking lot! Wink If anyone is looking for something to do afterwards you can help me cut up the 500 trees that fell in my yard over the weekend!!! LOL.

Hmmm... I do need firewood......

We are all meeting at 3Dog so far, unless any groups set up a meeting place. Happy to have you along!

Sure, bring the wood!

One final question: what's the address? I can't seem to find it.

They prefer the address to not be posted online (out in the open).

if you like, you can meet me at my shop in Pottstown at 9:55am (I leave promptly at 10am) 144 shoemaker road, pottstown, pa 19464

We can then caravan the 5-6 miles up to the 3 dog garage.

I just wanted to say I had a great time at the Three Dog Garage today!! Thanks to everyone involved. This might have been the best museum tour I have been to yet. The place could have been a little cleaner though. LOL.

True dat.

I also had a great time talking with Ross Meyers, Chuck Cantwell and Terry, Ross' buddy who drove the yellow Boss 302.

The place is simply amazing. The restoration area, the race car area, the hot rod area, the gas station, the old Chris Crafts and the old transport. 3 Dog Garage could easily be a feature article in the Vintage Motorsport magazine, where they look at a collector's garage.

Because there's so much to see, it's easy, but unfortunate, to overlook "First Love", the 3 Dog Garage Ridler award winning car, which has it's own special room.

Ross and his wife have a great love for the cars and I'm glad they were kind enough to share it with us today.

Thanks for setting this up, Dan. You da Man!   Chug a Lug

I have to thank Ross and his staff for assembling such a great collection, and making it available to the public. I really enjoy the fact that most of the race cars are run regularly at vintage meets!

Glad everyone had a great time!  Chug a Lug Camera

A week ago, some of us joined up for a tour of 3 Dog Garage.  All I can say is WOW!!!!  HeadSpin

I walked around for the first twenty minutes with my mouth hanging open, trying not to drool on myself.

I expected a structured tour, but once we signed in, we were on our own to walk around and among the collection.  No velvet ropes here, you could get right up to everything in the garage.  We even ate lunch there (pizza and hoagies).  The only request was that we didn't lean over the cars while taking a big bite out of our food....it's kind of messy to remove pepperoni from a carburetor if it happens to fall in.   Hysterical

In addition of Mustang racing cars, the Hot Rod collection was amazing.  Have you ever heard of the "Chopstick Special" built by Lee Shinoda?  It lives at 3 Dog.  And let's not forget a few vintage wooden Chris Craft boats thrown in for good measure.

It very easy to forget this is a working garage/restoration shop.  I walked through the work area....the comments "spotless" and "eat off the floor" are INSULTS to this place.

All my pictures can be found here...

Here are a few shots to get you going...
