Saw Chris and some of the "3 Dog" cars at AACA Hershey today (and yesterday)  Chris said that they are looking forward to our visit... only a few weeks to go! |

Saw all of the race cars do their required "runs" in the Hershey Stadium on Friday... the blue 68 Shelby T/A notchback sounded [and looked] awesome.
Chris said that it dyno'd at 500-plus hp (correct 302 tunnelport).
He was sorry that they didn't know [on Friday] that Chuck Cantwell was there [an AACA race-car judge], or they could have asked him to do the stadium laps in the 68.

I'm in too, and I am waiting to hear back from two other friends who are trying to rearrange prior plans so they can attend.
I also tried to help stir up some interest with your invitation on the TeamShelby.com site. Speaking for myself, and a few other individuals, we truly appreciate the invitation to join with our SAAC brethren in touring such a phenomenal collection of Ford Racing and Shelby history.
Looking forward to working with you on some "mutual" events in 2012.

OK, we're all set! I just ordered the food - Mixed hoagies and pizza, with cans of soda. Please eat neat!  Groups seem to be gathering at different places to drive in, so if you are looking to find a group, or are in charge of one, please post here. Remember, parking is very limited, no parking lot, streets only, so bringing your classic and expensive car is optional only. I'm driving the truck since I have the drinks and coolers. Looking forwards to seeing all of you Saturday! Dan |
