long absolute. think pt.# was K-8029. I have NEVER seen a set for sale EVER!!
all that is really needed it the lower plate with adjuster and locking nuts.drill out the rivets on lower plate and change to adjustable.
i was told they used them for qullifying to change ride height.
Need? Hum? What exactly was ever needed? When you start to look at all these "unnecessary" items the "factory" cars had, maybe it's a wonder that they would run at all? LOL! Still this is "neat" stuff...still.
I have a pair of the mounting plates, brand new in the box. Was looking for them this morning and couldn't find them. Quite sure they are Moog. Don't remember the number on the box but pretty sure there was no K for kit in it. I never pursued the joints. As you say TA, didn't really need 'em then?
By the same token, that joint which was included in the kit, looks suspiciously what are on the Howe web page?
Great find on that pdf page... everything anyone ever would want to know on how to build a Trans-am Mustang.
Thanks for posting everyone. Great, great info.
Incidentally, -2 degrees camber? Hum. Maybe that's why the lower control arms almost seem to be on the ground when you get to see the cars, yet I would have GUESSED a provision for more with plan B going to shim them out to 2 degrees? I guess I just have a vivid imagination?
