Was it a Trans-Am car.  It looks like a 67 with 68 GTE hood.

I don't believe that it has any history - pretty sure it is a fairly recent build from Cobra Automotive.

They had it for sale on their website several years ago.

The attached scan is from the 2005 Cougar Club of America calendar - so apparently Mr. Hackenson owned it then.

Pretty Cougar.

^^^ Vintage NASCAR is pretty awesome.

My avatar is one of the ex-Trans-Am Cougars re-outfitted for the NASCAR Grand American circuit.

Post 2119:  1969, so I'm sure they are hiding their mini-skirts behind that door.

Looks to me like a photo from a high school yearbook or sports program that had Max Curtis Ford as a sponsor.

That's Daddys little girls with their GT500 to go back and forth to college 200 miles away Party on

1109RWHP, great shot of the Detroit auto show '68 ? spotted the GT 40, but also looks like a '66 GT350 and a Cougar just above the International Tire banner.
