NO- That owner driver went over a cliff on Mulholland or Coldwater canyon around 1969 if memory serves me right. The outcome of that wreck was a fatality for its occupant. Car was rebuilt around its serial number not much was left after the plunge. Others will no more on this story. Cry

CSX 3015 survived pretty much unscathed, and was still in decent shape when Jimmy Webb bought it. Shame he lost it to the IRS. Of course, both it andante other twin-Paxton car, 3303, are fraudulent figments of our imagination, if you believe the wacko formerly of a certain dealership in Beverly Hills with a name that resembles Richard Crackpot. And someone should check COB 6005 in the UK for some Romy Schneider DNA.

Wedgeman - Do you have any other information on this great photo? (who, what, when, where)

I see the time honored practice of removing the H from the side stripes was employed on this car too!

Blue Streaks on the front - NICE!

The picture would be close to '67 when it was released from Hertz. Mine had the H removed and a new piece of stripe added to remove the space left by the missing H. I have seen "some" others done this way LONG ago ( early '70s) and obviously many where the H remained. Mine was rented out of LAX and may be the reason a "patch" was added . Back then none of us were aware of the white /blue stripe Hertz cars.

1109WRHP, Hope you don't mind me reposting this pic. any I.D on this car, or driver or year ? Full face Bells came in about '69. This at an airport (planes in the background) wonder if it might be Kent (Seattle) Raceway ?
