Have Any Cool Toys?
«
on:

I just fixed the switch on this battery powered '65 Mustang toy from Japan.
I'll bet it was never used until today!
Wanna watch it go?

It spins donuts and takes off, then does it again!
Try it!

Thanks for viewing my video, Vern!
I'll bet not many of these survived the ravages of childhood.
Notice it is not remote control?
Got this one from the original owner a couple of years ago, finally decided to fix it, Glad I did.

You've got the box too! Love those vintage illustrations.
I've got a couple of the Cougar versions, a fire chief Cougar and a Cougar police car.

Nice Cougar collection! Don't you find it hard to resist building those AMT model kits?
PM sent.

Yep, I love building also (tho not much time to these days). I snag broken built-ups (without the boxes) so I can scratch that itch.
Lots of stuff in storage, including my Shelby and Cobra toys and models
Being an illustrator I love the original packaging - so much really cool illustration in the '60s.

Yes I had a ton of them back in the day, but unfortunatly they are long gone. I modifed them ( switched tires ,motors, gold plated pickups) & ran them to hell & back.

I found some nice online representations of Revell slot cars and IMC kit model box art. These were issued in the mid to late 1960's, around the same time each of the cars were new or nearly new:
