Hi All,  Does anyone have photos of Mel Burns Ford (Long Beach, California) Ads showing Shelbys for sale or the Dealership photos?  Obviously, my Shelby was sold by Mel Burns Ford in January 1967.  It would be great to see any photos, thanks, DMG67.

If you were in SoCal or NorCal you could use on the libraries to do a search through the old microfisch of old newspapers. Found plenty of dealership adds in those things over the years

Just a thought

Great pic!  It's very much like the David Snyder painting/print - https://i.pinimg.com/originals/18/b4/88/18b48899053d2117ca119a2bae57a4fa.jpg   Chug a Lug

Mel Burns became Pacific Ford. I used to buy a lot of NOS parts from Ken, who had a vast knowledge and often could older parts most dealers claimed were obsolete.

Fantastic Photo, thanks for sharing, made my day. Big ask, would anybody out there have a pair or even one Mel Burns number plate frame which they would depart with?? Thanks.

Anyone know when Mel Burns Ford became Pacific Ford?   I have a hunch it was sometime  in '71 or early 72.   I have two Stroppe Broncos that were sold there new.   1.9 miles from Bill Stroppe's shop.  I too would be looking for a Mel Burns plate frame if anyone has 3...
