It'll soon be December and that means it's time for our annual holiday party - Saturday, December 4th. We'll get started around noon and run until the food and drink are gone. As always, the party will be held at Steve and Chris's shop, Check Point Automotive, located at 3906 Grand View Blvd. in West Los Angeles (one block south of Venice and one block east of Centinela). Price of admission to this holiday extravaganza is one unwrapped toy (or two or three if you'd like).
As with years past and in the spirit of the holidays, we will be collecting toys in support of the LAPD Pacific Division's annual holiday toy drive which benefits underprivileged families in the local community. Over the past several years the Club has been able to contribute hundreds of toys to this very worthy cause. Last year, through member donations, auction proceeds and a healthy contribution from the Club treasury, we were also able to also donate $1,000 to Pacific Division (which they used to buy even more toys).
