Maybe the same people, same parts cars, used to sell SHELBY watches, were a part of this ? Hes a memory, we dont need to get whiskey bent and hell bound on whiskey or vodka, to think about OL SHEL. Rest in peace..... old spirit of the raceways!

Deals like this keep Shelby American alive. It puts some cash in the till from the licensing fee and keeps his name in front of the public. Don't like it don't buy it. If you're a speculator buy a bottle it may be worth as much as a can of Pit Stop someday. I'm still waiting for my far rarer bottle of premade Shelby Chili to go up.

I wouldn't mind getting a bottle or two.  Doesn't whiskey go up in value as it ages?  But perhaps the aging has to occur at the source in a barrel.  Once it is in a bottle it doesn't improve?  I don't drink so I am not an expert.  I understand that the products are only available on the West Coast....

Found my answer:  "Unlike wines, distilled spirits do not improve with age once they are in the bottle. As long as they are not opened, your whiskey, brandy, rum, and the like will not change and they will certainly not mature further while they wait on the shelf."

I checked with the manufacturer and they are limited to sales in Oregon, NV and CA.  Surprised that they are responding to emails on a Sunday.
No shipping on spirits.  So I asked if they have a dealer/distributor near the SAAC-46 convention.  They are checking.   8)

Alcohol is medicine and after the past year I need more medicine.

If the label is signed, I can always duck tape the bottle to the GT350 glove box door for extra authenticity.  8)

.     If they don't schedule a social "mixer"for the convention they don't know how to market their product imho.... 8)

If they don't know what the letters for SAAC mean, they don't deserve the sales. 8)
