SFM 6S 001147 viewsOn display in the parking lot of the Oakland Hilton at SAAC I in Oakland, CA. This is 6S 001 sitting on a trailer, under restoration. Lots of neat cars showed up. I was anxious to see the "California cars", but was surprised at how "used" some of them looked. Eventaully I realized that they didn't have six months of the year to work (like us Midwestern folk) on their cars, 'cause they could DRIVE them year 'round. cobrajeff

Dad goes wild!13 viewsThe car was purchased from Bob Barker painted black with gold American 5 spokes. My Dad (get this) increased the rear flare size, cut the fronts and added fiberglass flares. Look closely at the rear and you see California Special clues! IMSA all the way. Go 70's!sfm5022jr

Parnelli Jones & yours truly102 viewsThis pic was taken at the Claremont Resort in Berkeley California in April 2006 during the Ford Media weekend for the new GT500. I got to meet Parnelli again in Nov 2007 at the Peterson Museum, and knowing he'd be there, I brought a copy of this pic and had him sign it. Very cool if I say so myself. He told me he remembered taking that pic!Cali_KR
